WHAT WE BELIEVE
Declaration of Faith
- 01 – We believe that the Bible (Old and New Testaments) is wholly inspired by God, containing no errors in its original writings and being the supreme and final authority as the rule of faith and life. The Bible is the Word of God.
- 02 – We believe in one God who created the universe and who exists eternally in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We also believe that He is wholly holy and righteous.
- 03 – We believe that Jesus Christ is God, who never sinned, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and who died for the sins of all mankind.
- 04 – We believe in the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the physical body in which He suffered, we believe in His present presence at the right hand of God the Father, and we also believe in His second coming.
- 05 – We believe that all mankind is sinful and therefore guilty before God. The sin separates man from God.
- 06 – We believe that everyone who by faith receives Jesus Christ as their Savior is born again by the Holy Spirit and is now part of the Family of God. We believe that the Holy Spirit of God dwells in every believer in Jesus, illuminating, guiding and empowering him in life, witness and service. We believe that God hears and answers the prayers of His people and provides for their needs according to His own purpose.
- 07 – We believe that God gives spiritual gifts to all believers for the building up of the “Body of Christ” (The Church).
- 08 – We believe in the resurrection of the just and the unjust on the last day, we believe in eternal and glorious life with God for the saved in Jesus, and in eternal punishment for the lost in hell.
- 09 – We believe that all believers in Jesus are called to live a life separate from all sinful practices and alliances.
